Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to do more than 30-50% of our usual capacity of returns this tax season. We are reduced to only 4 in-person site Saturdays and will have reduced capacity for drop-offs as well. Therefore, we are only doing returns for people who we prepared returns for at least once in the past 3 seasons (2019-2021.) We plan to have a waiting list.
Clients we cannot help are encouraged to reach out to AARP at (928-919-9277) and United Way of Tucson or using the IRS Free File software from the IRS website. A final option is a paid preparer, you highly encouraged to shop around as their fees are highly variable.

The Affordable Care Act and Your Taxes The IRS administers the tax provisions included in the Affordable Care Act. The Individual Shared Responsibility Provision - Repealed from 2019TY on. If you get your insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, you may be eligible for a Premium Tax Credit. If you got insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace (healtcare.gov), you will receive a form 1095-A. You must bring this form with you to the VITA site that you visit. |
